Heather and Patrick's engagement session was so much fun! Looking through their photos, it looks like we shot on a pristine and beautiful cloudless day at Duxbury Beach. Boy was this not the case! It rained ALL day long before their engagement session. It was raining so bad that I tried cancelling the shoot due to fear of being rained out.
Heather had different plans, though. She checked the weather every hour that day and had a feeling deep down that the day wouldn't turn into a wash out. As I sat in the parking lot of Duxbury Beach waiting for them to arrive, I could literally see a defined line in the clouds where the bad weather ended and it was nothing but pure blue skies past that line. As this defined line allowed the sun to shine through for the first time that day, Heather and Patrick pulled into the parking lot. It truly could not have been any more spectacular and I'm so happy we ended up with the amazing evening we got.
